The RPU is a shop build with stock chassis, dropped stock I-beam, reversed eye beam, mechanical brakes, stock rear suspension with reversed eye spring, tube shocks, 17 inch wheels in the front with 1933-34 Ford wires, 18 inch rear wheels with 1932 Ford wires, 450-17 Excelsior front tires, 700-18 Firestone tires in the rear, stock model A 'banger', stock model A transmission, 3 inch chopped top & windshield, dropped headlight bar, old lacquer paint, & stock vinyl seats an panels.
Upgraded the wheels & tires for a new look.
Stock chassis, original dropped model A axel, reversed eye main leaf & raised front cross member, fabricated shock mounts with one off short shock covers, fabricated rear shock mounts, reworked and reinforced model A rear wish bones to locate the polished magnesium halibrand 101 quick change, 17 inch 1933-34 Ford front wheels with 450/17 excelsior bias-plys, 18 inch 1932 Ford wheels in the rear with 600-650/18 excelsior bias-plys, .080 over original model A block with a weiand head, zephyr two carb intake with a pair of Stromberg 97's, Cragar finned side cover, Mallory ignition cast iron header into a fully fabricated 2 inch exhaust, stock transmission, stock body, & stock style seats with custom painted an stripped dash & tank.
All Henry Ford traditional built roadster. 41 inch Lincoln transmission, stock banjo rear, 17-18 inch Kelsey Hayes bent spoke wheels, lowered car with reversed eye main leaf springs from poses, undropped axle, built top assembly, finished interior. This car came to us as a full pre-war built car.
